Dark purple in color with a short purple rim.
Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward.
Rich, yet elegant
Showing black plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, diet cola, tobacco, chocolates, peppercorn and light candy notes.
Nice finish with soft tannins and cherries.
This is a tasty Merlot from the Wagner family. Nicely balanced, easy drinking and good for parties.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime. Good by itself or with food.
I've had a few vintages of this Merlot, and it is very consistent.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

I always listen to the sommelier, and usually order what they recommend. This was one of those times, and we couldn’t be happier. A monster Merlot, 14.9% ABV, but smooth as silk. Delightful with our prime rib. Here we are in the middle of the Caribbean on the last night of a cruise, enjoying ourselves at a wonderful restaurant, the Cosmopolitan.

Bought this bottle at the market I bought my steak. I did not pay attention it was Merlot as I prefer Cabernet. The store associate recommended. I am enjoying. Not as fruity or sweet as most Merlot. Close to a can. I would buy again.

I love this. A go to Merlot with a burst of red fruit plus a balanced finish. Great for tuna sashimi.
