Excellent zin for $14 and change. Not oaky, not jammy fruit bomb. Restrained and kind of old school.

Complex bouquet. Notes of cherry cordial and almond. Medium body. Would pair well with chocolate.

Foxglove makes amazing value wines. Their Cab is always excellent. This Zin has probably got decent QPR but I'm not really a fan of this more sweet, jammy style. For Zinfandel, I'll pay a bit more and to for Turkey, Ridge or Bedrock....

Really enjoyed this. Definitely fruity, but nicely balanced. Nice on its own and gets more interesting with food.
