Jul 25th, 2015Balastic Brunello! Incredibly savoury intense wine. Meaty yumminess. Just holding it's balance at 15% Alcohol. Raising the challenges climate change poise in both Brunello and Barbaresco. The natural yeast are starting to struggle to ferment the sugars & manufactured yeasts are starting to become necessary.The Gaja cellars in Brunello rest in a Church built in the 300's! Aug 29th, 2023Opened at 7pm. Began drinking at 930. Paired with porterhouse and mushrooms. Wow.
Wine dinner. Bottle #8 and the burgundy fans loved it. Phew. Had great complexity and cherry flavor. Was singing.

Fairly elegant and complex. Kept getting better with more airtime. Perfect cork came out clean. Enjoyed this quite a bit.
