Blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay, Pale lemon color, fine bubbles with a light creamy mousse and aromas of fresh stone fruit with floral and biscuit scents. On the palate flavors of crisp apple, citrus and peachy flavors with nice mineral tones, dry with vivid acidity. Medium+ finish with good balance ending with fruit, slight mineral and yeasty tang. Excellent value as a Champagne alternative!

Jan 19th, 2023Cremant de limoux sparklers typically punch above their weight, and this one is no exception. Tart citrus and tropical fruit, medium fine bubbles, with a long finish. Great value wine.

Apr 20th, 2022Smells like apple. Tastes a little bitter (in a good way), like lemon pith. Some mild toasty oak. Tiny bit of almonds. Apple - almost tastes like a unbelievably dry, killer cider. No off tastes, good. Quality. But, a little anonymous. Would really shine in a cocktail. Wish it had a little more brightness and fruit. Waffling between 89 and 90. Will settle on 90, though it is not quite to my taste. EDIT: had another bottle a few months later and was pleased. Again, 89-90. This time, enjoyed the acidity. This may become my go-to.
