Excellent wine with simple flavor, black currant. Amazon purchase.

For $13, this is an excellent value, so I have given it a higher rating. One cannot find a red wine at this price that is as smooth. Flavorful but a little unbalanced. A strong peppery finish. Good berry start.

A pleasant surprise - particularly @ $12! Inky w/no signs of age, generous nose of red & black fruits more on the tart rather than ripe side, and also a bit dusty, smoky & leafy. Tannins were quite smooth creating a softer effect which lead to an impressive cohesive finish. Crowd pleaser

So nice! Light in color but so full bodied. Extremely dry and supple. I enjoyed the tannins and the chocolate/dirt tastes. Just wonderful especially for the price.

Nose: chocolate cake kind of sweetness, alcohol scent, elderberries, Palate: herbaceous, some tannin, high alcohol, elderberry dark fruit
