Great nose but could use a bit more concentration in the mouth. Nose has tons of granite and hard dark cherry candy. Soft- textured and very pure and minerally in the mouth. In the mid-palate it vanishes for a bit, but then comes back in a nice finish.

Nice fruity Beaujolais with a little depth. Strawberries, some raspberry. A little spice. Borders on too light, but good pre-dinner wine. Wish I had some light appetizers with it. WTSO.

A gorgeous Beaujolais!! Soft and smooth, yet a nice earthy mushroom undercurrent. Light enough to compliment the lemon roasted chicken dish, yet full enough to command attention.

Dec 16th, 2016Cru Beaujolais are a great buy. This Morgon does not disappoint. Strawberry and a bit of spice on the nose with good hang time on the palate.

Nose of strawberry and red licorice. Soft and quaffable, but I expected more from the beautiful nose.
