Judge Palmer
Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon
13ā Judge Palmer G lll. Ruby red in color. Ready to roll!! The palate is full of black fruits-reveals layers of silky, refined tannins & a firm structure. Providing power with finesse & grace. Drinking now, another decade in it.
This is significantly better then the 2012.

Solid showing again. Deep dark blueberry and cassis. There is adequate tannin to boot. A full bodied wine. @Palmer Emmitt

1 person found it helpfulJun 27th, 2017@Martin G Rivard this is a really nice wine. I had it at a churrascuria. So many flavors going on at dinner (the meat never stops coming to the table!!) that I am hesitant to share a clear thought about it. Thank goodness I have more!šš½š·šµšššš @Paul T @TheSkip @Jim Trobaugh @Ron R @Eric S @Warren Sapp

Not as plush as I expected. More ethereal and classy, with moderate sweetness. Blackberries on the palette, with coffee and bay leaves. Acidity is quite prominent, and therefore needs a little more time in the bottle. Leave this for another 2 years or so.
Martin - Thank you and yours my friend.

1 person found it helpfulDec 11th, 2016Best Palmer wine yet. This eclipses the 2011.
Nose, palette and mouthfeel is exceptional. Wonderful example.
Another gift from @Martin G Rivard. Thank you my brother. I need @Palmer Emmitt to put me on his list.

Dark purple in the glass. Smokey plum aromas. Rich, plush dark chocolate, vanilla, and spiced cherry chutney. Velvety finish. So nice
