One of my favorites! Great vintage with delicious strawberry notes on the nose with the perfect amount of earthiness on the palate. Smooth from the beginning to the end.

This needs time. Not as expressive and ready as the RRV. Bright red fruit, spice and stone. Look forward to this in 3-5 years

Pale ruby color. Aromas of cherry, raspberry and sandalwood. Such a great Pinot. Black and red fruit on the palate, great structure, hint of black tea on the finish.

Oh come on—-I paid nearly $100 for this?? I am actually rating the 2018 Kosta Browne Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, which Delectable apparently does not have in its database. Was looking forward to this as a Thanksgiving treat, but boy did it disappoint. Thin and uninspired upon opening, with no improvement after an hour of decanting. No complexity, no finesse, no nose, no nothing. Just not special enough for the price. This is the second of two bottles I got from one of my partners who is on their allocation list. He can keep his place on that list; my interest in Kosta Browne is now nil.

After a very busy weekend, we sat around the table eating leftovers. Hard to see a Kosta Browne being a complement to “leftovers” but it was wonderful. Light red:purple color with strawberry and blueberry on the nose and some slight earth tones coming through the palate. This feels and tastes like a Russian River Valley Pinot but softer. Definitely worth having again. . . And again.
