Insanely primary and clean, next to no rusticity to the wine. Rotofermenters apparently at play here. Was just an array of Jols lollys; slight orange, black raspberry and blackcurrant. Serious tannin to the wine but didn't seem to work within its style. Maybe worth a revisit

Mar 19th, 2017Very perfumed at the beginning already. Passion fruit, rose petals, mango, sour cherry, star anise. Bone dry, can feel the heat on the back palate, tannin is little bit bitter. 2010 vintage

May 13th, 2016I have never smelled a barbaresco with as much peach pit as this. Big floral notes as well. Absolutely gorgeous. Still young (2010), I definitely want to revisit this wine in a few years

May 6th, 2015Light rustic red clear color with see-through core and medium-minus viscosity; intense, fruity, and full-bodied on the nose with dried dark red fruits such as ripe cherries and oaky barbq; on the palate the wine is very dry and smokey with same red dried fruits and lots of toasted new oak; tannins too rough, might soften in a few years.
