My own Barolo vs. Brunello,2013, half bottle, same price, challenge:
the Barolo was ethereal... light but fragrant. Roses. Olives. Drinking beautifully now but of course it should go longer. The brunello was cherry, earthy, medium tannins, tighter... but also showing well at an early age. I'm buying another of the Barolo.

Deep garnet with rust tinge color. Aromas baking spices, tobacco and dried rose petals. Intense dark fruit, cigar box finish.
