Tough year 2011 with almost perfect June, July, August conditions to then be hammered with extreme heat. Dark brooding scents of mahogany, leather, dried fruits and liquorice. Feels older than what I'd expect. Tannins quite resolved but are in plentiful supply along with quite a rounded mouth feel. Length and concentration all there.

Showing some orange color at the edge. Just lovely, full bodied with dark berries, leather accents, and pleasant tannins. Great with our T-bone.
