Serralunga d'Alba Barolo Nebbiolo

Bright fruit and chewy tannins from an excellent vintage. Mild aromas of menthol and tar. Excited for day 2.

Cherry lifesavers, floral perfume. Attack tannins.

Floral light ripe fruits smith menthe finish. I absolutely love this wine. Going to buy more.

Needs a moment on opening but really nice structure. A bit on the drier side

Five hour decent. Loads of dark cherry and raspberry. Hints of tar, leaves, cedar, and black tea. Fine, non drying tannins very well integrated.

Excellent birthday Barolo!

This 15’ bottling is delightful. Cherry, raspberry, rose petal, light vanilla, dried mushroom, and lightly roasted coffee beans. Mouth watering acidity and elegant tannins. Finesse.

For a regular Barolo, my choice would be a Massolino or Vietti. To me, they can be enjoyed young (relatively speaking) or aged for a decade of two.

Really solid young Barolo - lots of strawberry and earth with really fine tannins

Nariz: cereza, violetas, piedra

Boca: Tanino M+, Acidez M/M+, Alcohol M/M+

Buen vino.

Pretty good, the German Pinot was better!
