Old-school aged Chianti scents of iron, sandstone-scented gravel, sour cherry and underbrush. The first sip actually flashed me back to the last time I was in Italy (in the mid 89s!). A little advanced for a ‘14 but very nice. Soft and mouthfilling, with really nice balance. Terrific with my Sunday meat sauce. Drink up and enjoy.

95% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo. Nice Chianti! Pairs well with a rich dish. Not too bright and finishes very well. SS

Expensive for a basic Chianti but this is my favorite producer. Fresh bright 🍒 chalky and at that just a fantastic complement to simple Italian dishes. Perfect acidity.
