Medium ruby with a wide pink , ruby rim . Quite aromatic, ripe red cherries , dried herbs and cedar . On the palate there is high , refreshing acidity , ripe spiced red cherries , touch of crunchy summer fruits and quite grippy but fine tannins with good length. Good to drink now through will improve over the next 3-5 years and last well a further 5-8. For a basic Chianti Classico this is a really well done . — 13 days ago

Mineral driven with a some fruit on the back, weighty, fresh, a touch of funk.

This Chianti needs significant time to breathe before consuming. There is no question it is quite good. But it is not worth its higher price. It is straightforward and well-made, but lacks the typical astringent Chianti bite in the finish. Good cherry flavor, smooth and elegant, but not complex. — 2 years ago
