Patz & Hall
Dutton Ranch Chardonnay
Been a while since enjoying a Patz & Hall Chardonnay. We served this with fresh crab from Oregon and the buttery compliments were just amazing. I love when a pairing is magical. Dutton Ranch continues to be a favorite vineyard.

Jan 27th, 2020P&H was founded in 1988 by industry professionals Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses and Heather Patz. Aromas of fresh ripe stone fruits, honey, nutty and floral notes. On the palate fresh fruit flavors of apple, pear and sweet pineapple with savory toasty oak tones. Lingering finish ends with creamy fruit and oaky mineral notes. A bit rounder than previous vintages. Wonderful.

May 27th, 2019Second of the blind white wines. Theme was new world Chardonnay.
Clear and pale golden yellow. A little chalky on the nose with lemon, minerality and green apples. Rich and buttery on the palate with sharp acidity (6.5/10) and medium body. Seems to have some oak in it and notes of almonds, green apples and lemon curd. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2025.
