A nearly, freaking OPAQUE color reveals a more gentle and inviting nose of rich cassis & hints of blackberry, leading to a remarkably smooth mouthfeel that gently coats the palate while the nose is distracted by all that cassis. The finish is simply a coda to lushness of the wine on the palate. For its price in particular- I am blown away.

Mar 26th, 2020Sweet purple florals, ripe blue and black fruit. Pepper and spice, and smoked fatty meats. Shows great structural balance and approachability with juicy acid and some grip. Would love to try some of the more singular bottlings!

Very fresh and smooth #syrah from #sbcountywines and #sashimoorman it has deep color, black fruit and floral aromas and a smooth fine tannin and medium+ finish. Very easy drinking and balanced Syrah.

Bacon, bay, fat, maple syrup. Seems from fairly warm sites, quite plump, but still a touch of freshness in finish.

I could not take my nose out of the glass. One of Santa Barbara's best winemakers does not disappoint. It was super chewy though--could've stood a decanting or more bottle age. Superb.
