Color of saturated purple, looking thick. Nose of nice dark fruits with ample acidity, strawberry, and a bit oak note. Taste follows the nose with addition of nice oak barrel note, juicy ripe fruits, zest, black pepper and sprinkle of mineral. Low tannins. Just a hint of sweetness. Aftertaste is quite long. Nicely done.

Like several others here, couldn’t resist the Costco sale price for this Alexander Valley Cabernet. Impressive structure and balance (berry fruits/tannins), nose to finish.
