From magnum . Little darker ruby than the asili , slightly narrower garnet , terracotta rim . Darker quite ripe fruits , more medicinal , touch of tar and mineral length . Slightly more rustic tannin , good fresh acidity . Slightly darker anis tinged finish with good length. Quite austere and really young , needs time to open . Quite rustic , a bit of a brute ! Better in 5 years and will last a further 5-10.

Old world deliciousness! Strawberries and sour cherries on the palate! Still has the tannin structure to last another 5-7 years

Everything you are looking for on a Sunday night. Immediately open, loads of mature aromatics, perfectly resolved tannins. Classic. Not getting any better but in its window right now.

Massive and ripe. Still very young tasting with a deep note of concentrated cherries.

Strawberries with still grippy tannins.. Nice body! Liked it a lot !

2005. Fresh and surprisingly light. Lots of red summer fruits. A tad of chocolate / coffee. Surprisingly fresh but drinkable. Lovely with cheese.

Too old

Beefy, plummy, deep and tannic.
Great w steak. Many yrs to go.
Wakes up the ol' mouth fer sure!
