Prunotto
Barolo Nebbiolo
Ruby with black fruit aromas and herb floral scents. On the palate dark berry, black cherry & raspberry, cinnamon, licorice and floral herb notes. Full taut tannins bring fruit to long finish ending with spice and earthy mineral. Wonderful! Just beginning to open, will age well over next 5-7 years.

Sep 26th, 2023Italian wines always taste better in Italy. Praiano is a less crowded version of Positano and Pasquallino is Praiano’s best chef run restauranteur. Last year, we helped him and his friend sync their new speaker with their phone. Molto bravi! This 2015 Barolo is the same.

Jul 24th, 2022Elegant Barolo, as said in my previous post: could easily mistake it with a Barbaresco

Apr 5th, 2021Still has a way to go. Very young and quite closed. Quite some evolution between opening and the last glas. Shows more elegance than expected, if tasted blind I would say a Barbaresco.

Mar 13th, 2020Small family wine makers, produces excellent Barolo, in fact some of the best, possibly a bit young at present and will age well, but still shows a lovely complex nature with hints of cherry, raspberry and liquorice with a leathery back taste.
