Just outstanding. Chateau Quilceda kinda vibe. Lush and rich from the nose to its close.

Touted as tops from Washington state, this Cabernet Sauvignon based blend is a classy new world wine. However good it was today, it will be much, much more expressive and better with 5-7 years of age and likely outstanding in 15. (92-96)

Medium garnet , ruby , with some lightening on the rim . Dark, slightly meaty nose , a bit alcoholic perhaps , grafite , iron filing earthy overtones slightly high toned . On the palate this has quite bright cassis , roasted red pepper , meaty , slight earthy , iron filing hint . Quite rich and rounded with some balanced acidity and slightly gritty tannin , a little heavy but not as much as I had feared from 15.2% alcohol . Quiet a lot of ripe dark fruits on the palate , blackberry , cassis , dark cherry. Quite a mouthful, though not subtle and not long on the palate either . Drink now and over the next 5 or so years , I don’t see this improving much.

Did not make it to 3rd hour of decant. Everyone drank it up quickly. Wine got better with each minute.

Yum. Dark. Some solid fruit. Brambley. Pairs well with New Zealand grass fed wagyu strip steak

We had the 2013 Vintage on 10/2/21. Dark purple in color. Blackberry and cinnamon on the palate. Blackberry, blueberry, plum and spice on the palate. Full bodied and fruit forward wine with a long finish. Excellent Washington Cab.

I’ve had the ‘10, ‘11, and ‘12 and wondered if I just didn’t get QC. Now the ‘13. Wow. Just blows it out with red fruit and elegance.
