Heaven. As in Horse Heaven and Red Mountain. Always a cut above the rest.

A very nice Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Columbia Valley. Showing cherries, currants, plums, earth, tobacco, vegetables, spices, oak and light vanilla.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

Dry on the palate and nicely balanced with a nice, soft mouthfeel.

Still very young but already enjoyable.

Good by itself or with food.

A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.

90 points.

$70.

Too often this, wine is drunk at release. Just a little patience goes a long way. At 7 years the primary black and red fruit is still there with dried plums showing up along with cedar cocoa tar anise. Tannins still there so can go along a bit longer bit why wait

Drinking quite well with a 5m decant. Open and generous without the overly generous oak I’ve gotten with other vintages when young.
