Nice cherry/cranberry herbal balance, hibiscus smell, tannins come quick and stay giving it a metallic carbonated chalky flavor, also air gives it a subtle smoothening, not necessarily flavor chance, the grip is excellent, the wine is 9.5 in construction, 9.0 in flavor, and frankly this is a tough unforgiving barbaresco style that doesn’t have easy cover ups like jam, it’s impressive but conflicting.
