A very lovely wine, especially at that price. Ordered in a restaurant so it didn’t have to be a lot of time to open up. Very tannic, as one might expect, as soon as it was opened, but started to settle down after 30 minutes in the decanter. I am sure another couple of hours would have helped even more. Leather, tobacco, dark cherries, balsamic, and a touch of pomegranate. Very approachable. Paired beautifully with my pasta carbonara.

Very light wine with a slight presence. It pairs nicely with most cheeses and compliments really nicely with sweet flavor profiles. Not super aromatic. Would definitely by again.
