Carneros Merlot

Raspberry preserves, blackberry, currant, mossy earth, dried sage, plum, oak and hints of licorice. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

Updating some quick tasting notes from my Napa trip a few weeks ago:

Are there better merlots? Yes. At this price point? Not that I've found. Enjoyable and easy wine to drink.

Nice red fruit in a balanced smooth wine

Cocoa, vanilla, dates, and ripe berries on the nose. Strawberry, tart blueberry on the tongue. Medium low tannin. Very drinkable!

Very good bottle with a ribeye

Delicious smooth. Best value Merlot

Had with our annual Yorkshire pudding dinner. Smooth and went out easily.

Juguete de picina/ costillas adobadas. Sabor obscure bien para los lados y bien dulce pero en lo oscuro. Super similar a cabernet. El corcho tenia vino puede haber afectado. Chilling pero nada memorabelistico. Iffy

Soft, very little tannins, earthy, hints of plum.
