Wow what a surprise from perhaps my favorite Cali producer. I was worried this 2002 was over the hill but it smelled like perfume, maybe Yves Saint Laurent lol. Nice touch of spice followed by delightful dried fruit flavors with silk n long lingering finish with just a hint of sweet fruit. Delish

Buried deep inside the cellar. Didn’t like it much 20 years ago but it’s evolved into a very good one. Short decant. Fine sediment that most stuck to the side of the bottle. Black raspberry, floral notes, great color no brown edges even. Definitely California style but I was pleasantly surprised.
