So good. Translucent rusty brick red color. Sucks the moisture out of your mouth and leaves delicious flavores of red cherry along with with soft tannin. Gorgeous.

A nice Rusty Garnett with nice rim variation.
The nose tells me there's some candied cherry strawberry, potpourri, anise and tar.
The pallatte stays a little lighter than other nebbiolos(true to style-the drink of Queens) but to truly enjoy, enjoy some food with it and decant this thing-the tannins are not joking around. A lovely wine.

Leather, earth, tobacco and smoke fill the aromas, dried red fruits on the palate. Simple wine and a drink now rather than age Barbaresco. Not bad for the price.

Met Silvio in person many years ago a very classic producer for example cellar had no air conditioning back then. On the nose licorice. Light in color as it should be for a Nebbiolo. Lots of licorice on the palate. Violets. Not that tannic a feminine wine.
Drink now or keep for 4 years max. An early drinking vintage. A good wine but not as good as in other vintages from this producer. May be the wine had a bad day.

Strong anise seed, ripe/dried-strawberry on the nose. Big tannins. Strawberry jam, dried herbs, white pepper, finishing with a little cedar and clove.
