Another Great production by Sineann Vineyards. This is the 2013 Old Vine Zinfandel. Opening the bottle is so easy. Better than a screw top, its twist, discard, and pop the glass stopper. I love it! The color is dark dark purple. The legs are miles long and thick. The bouquet is coffee beans and dirt. The initial palate is raspberry vanilla. The finish is long with notes of black pepper and sour apple. WOW. This may be the first Zinfandel that I can say is out of this world. With that being said, it is slightly different than the typical California Zinfandel but is definitely a zin!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay... Two glasses. After a 1 hour decant, it is a perfect 10!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is 15.3%, but I am not drunk off One and 1/2 glasses!!!!!! This is perfection.

Color: burgundy core and vivid burgundy rim. Nose: intense ripe dark fruit, coffee and sweet spices. Palate: full-bodied, loud, dry, fresh acidity and soft ripe tannins. Flavorful and very nice mix of ripe dark cherries, pepper, coffee and hints of vanilla. Excellently balanced for its 15.2% ABV. Finish is long and complex.
