July 4 th celebration. Complete enjoyment. Beginning middle and finish .

Founded in 1985 by Staglin Family who produces world class wines. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe black berry fruits, sweet spice and licorice. On the palate flavors of juicy raspberry, currants and blackberry with cinnamon, cacao, good acidity and mouthfeel, with big intense approachable dusty tannins. Long finish, good balance ending with cedar, fruit and sweet spice, good now but a few years will enhance.

Drinking great! The ‘13 tannin really complement the oak program and extraction, plenty of muscle while maintaining some pliancy and generosity. Nice complexity from start to finish across nose and palate.

Elegant, savory, nice spice and mineral notes underneath. Wish more formal notes were taken. A cab I would drink often if I could afford it 😑

Notes of dark berries and graphite on the nose. For the palate, think of a warm mixed berry pie with graham cracker crust - yummy!!

It’s aged so well! The fruit has softened and the balance and earth is there.
