Terrific vanilla cherry pie note. A tannic, chalky quality in the finish. Definitively new world but not syrupy. Perfectly integrated dryness.

A great effort considering region and price point. Smooth, round and polished. Savory with a pleasant herbaceousness. A soft and pleasant finish. Far too many cabs from paso are overdone, stewed and do not carry their oft-high alcohol levels well. This is a nice departure from that trend. An excellent value here.

76% Cabernet Sauvignon? Scents of blueberry, tobacco and leather. Plums, cedar, currents and cloves on the pallet. Warm and plush, but some sweetness on the finish. I do like the name and labeling concept.
