One of those wines I’d been meaning to try for a while and just hadn’t gotten around it. One of these modern compelling white blends. Pretty interspersed with lots going on. Little hint of elder flower on the nose and umami on the palate. More interesting than savory. Cheers. — 7 days ago
Pouring mature red burgundy out of magnum for friends makes me happy! — 12 days ago
This wine comes from a time when natural wine was still a revolution, not a trend. Foillard, one of the Gang of Four, took Gamay to wild, expressive heights with deep structure and an earthy sensuality which entices any wine lover. Twenty years later this wine is a testament of passion; on the palate the wine is so harmonious it decimates in your mouth like the most beautiful time lapse you’ve ever experienced. Great wine. — 12 days ago
Nearing its peak drinkability, this long forgotten gift is full of broody character. And coincidentally or not it has game blood and rustic notes. The wine well beyond drinkable. The age has rounded out the tannins and made the fruit exuberant. Tell you what, this is way better than the finally. Wish the HBO producers would have had the same patience. To patient wine and f-ed up endings. Name your house… — 6 days ago

Second time tasting this bottle. This is an entry level 1er Cru Red Burgundy by one of my favorite producers there. Color screams Pinot, and the nose takes you there: red cherry, forest, clean wet earthy scents. The palate is vibrant with ripe red fruit deep minerality, high acidity, medium alcohol, soft tannins, and plush witty finish with a whiplash cherry note on the very end. A great wine that tastes great young, and under a Benjamin too. Roars real value. Chill for best tasting experience, the coldness tames the fruit. Loving this! — 3 days ago
