Super tasty cross between CENTRAL coast CA Pinot and southern Rhône Grenache blend. Just the right amount of fresh black cherry and gentle Mediterranean herbs - lovely, low tannin profile with balanced acidity that defies the 14.5 ALC. FABULOUS at Otto Turkish Döner :) — 2 years ago

Deep red, purple plums. Well balanced. A little sediment. — a year ago
We really enjoyed this. Drank like a cab with cab frank. Wonder what grapes it is? — 2 years ago
Delicious and different. Powerful Öküzgözü with a heavy red-grape flavor and strong earthy nose. The best Öküzgözü I have had. Should be consumed with steak or lamb.
100% Öküzgözü in 2014. — 3 years ago
Pretty good - light and good for a summer red. But not my usual red - lacks tannins or depth. — 4 years ago
Red blend of Öküzgözü, Cab Sauv and Boğazkere before aging in French barrels for 10 months. Kocabağ only does barrel aging in some of its premium lines, but mostly used, not new.
This blend is really a (Turkish) delight. Fruit forward with medium acids, low tannins, and a nice long finish at the end. Wonderful aromas of red cherries, raspberry, red currant,
black currant, and chocolate. Like good milk chocolate, not dark. Some earthy notes and herbaceous accents too. — 2 years ago

Strong cherry aromas and flavors, very mild acid from the tart cherry and some mild but present tannins. Very food friendly. A blend of 4 grapes (Öküzgözü, Bogazkere, Alicante, Carignan) made in Turkey. — 3 years ago

Enjoyed this one with an Armenian Lahmajun flatbread. Some raisin, blueberry, black cherry and something floral (hibiscus?) on the nose. Lighter body with a light tannic finish. Picking up some raspberry, cherry and green apple in the middle. Paired incredibly well with the lamb flatbread tonight. Really enjoyed this. — 2 months ago
