Drinking very nicely at present, so enjoy now or see how it evolved in the next 3-5 years. Prost! — 5 months ago
This is a delicious, yet young Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley.
Dry on the palate with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits with light cedar, earth, chocolates, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, peppercorn and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
Elegant and good right out of the bottle. Showing a soft mouthfeel and nicely balanced.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Haven’t had a Conn Creek in quite awhile. Good follow up to the Jones.
It’s ripe, juicy fruits of, dry blackberries, black raspberries, dry plum w/ skin, purple fruit hues, some stewed, dark cherries & half poached/baked strawberries. Dark/mid berry cola, dark spices, dark chocolate, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, clove, vanilla, steeped tea, dark tarry notes, anise to black licorice, dry tobacco, alluvial volcanics, used leather, some grahite, dry river stone, dry, crushed, rocks, dark, rich, earth with dry leaves, dry herbs, dry to withering flowers that are dark, red with violets, rainfall acidity and a finish with nice evolution, well balanced & structured with still good presence and polish/elegance that lasts two-minutes.
Very recently purchased at Last Bottle for $69 that will last another 5-8 years. — 4 months ago

A beautiful wine from a producer that I’m quite fond of (more on that in a bit). This selection is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. The fruit is sourced from six appellations: Oakville, Rutherford, Atlas Peak, Diamond Mountain, Stags Leap District, and Chiles Valley. Coming from a vintage with “typical” Napa Valley weather conditions, this bottle is the perfect iteration of Anthology for me to try for the first time. Plush, cool, sweet black & blue fruits - plums, blackberries, boysenberries - laced in Christmas spices, coffee grounds, vanilla, and star anise. On the palate a lovely, velvety texture that accentuates the sensuous plumpness that stands out on the nose. A lovely wine ✨
A quick word on Conn Creek as a producer.
Many years ago when I first “getting into” wine I had a friend who introduced me to Conn Creek (both their Cab and their red blend). After that first exposure to their wine my wife & I began keeping their wines on hand at all times, as they were ideal selections to have around the home for all kinds of occasions. Alas, this is my first Anthology and what a delicious selection it is. — 4 years ago
