Phenomenal QPR. Really interesting wine. Great acidity. I liked it. They apparently make some higher end bottling, I’d love to try them. — 4 years ago
Citrus blossom, lemon and nectarine on the nose. Smooth with great mineralogy and flavors of citrus, stone fruit and a slight herbaceousness on the palate - really terrific! — 6 years ago
An Armenian Rosé made out of Karmrahyut varietal, which is a tenturier grape (red in & out), highly perfumed and loaded with rose petal and red cherry flavors. A touch of honey with subtle texture (sur lie aged for 5 months). Interesting! — 4 months ago
Absolutely unexpected red wine from Armenia, Areni ungrafted grapes selected for this particular wine from ArmAs estate provides a great balance and incredible smoothness that will surprise anyone. Rounded tannins and balanced structure allows to have more than one glass. Cheers! — 8 months ago
The ‘13 and ‘14 are available now and are completely geeky! The hybrid grape Kamrahyut is more than 90% of the blend. The aromatics are fascinating with rich plum, apricot, rose, and sweet herbs for the nose. The wine has medium-plus acidity and a solid tannic backbone. Dark and savory fruits on the palate. Enjoyable. — 5 years ago

Sleeper! Can’t recall what I paid for this, but it was stunning: immediately showed gorgeous notes of all manner of red fruit & cassis, strong vein of minerality along with sweet schisty soil, loam, clay, spice, white pepper a ton of other notes. Reminded of CDP and Gigondas. Such purity, beautiful old vine material handled well - oak accented/enhanced - all polish & a fine cut. Captivating complexity as it unwound over the course of a couple of hours. Dead sexy — 8 days ago
