My sweetie said the nose and flavor was earthy, reminded her of the boa tree snake she had as a pet. That's a new one! Oh, and meant in a positive way. 15.3 ABV. Glad I got on their bandwagon a number of years ago, as they've become hot hot hot in the past few years. — 8 years ago
Great bandwagon to jump on! Like a violet chocolate fuzzy bear. Great to go now! In fact… so good out of the gate, that instant satisfaction might be its appeal. I played with it 3 nights, and it opened a bit after an hour, but didn’t reveal much more after that ( its great already). $44 at SF Flatiron. Buy of the year. — 3 years ago
Being an Etna man myself, I’m not on the “COS is God’s gift to Sicily” bandwagon, but they do make a rather good and precise Cerasuolo blend - and this one started to show some dusty earth with overripe red cherries up front, surprisingly good with bibimbap. Unsure if I’d pay the imported price point. — 7 years ago

Wow amazing imperial stout! — 3 years ago
Tasty tasty. I am just getting back on the rose bandwagon after tasting too much yuck. Light, refreshing, citrus - no sweet. — 5 years ago
2015 Arista Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. 14.6% alcohol. OK folks, so I just tasted a Ferren Silver Eagle Vineyard Pinot in my beloved city of Charleston last weekend. And the common denominator here is Mr Matt Courtney. This is maybe a half rung down the ladder from the Ferren. A brother from another mother, so to speak. Expressive nose of Caramel corn, espresso and anise. On the palate, black cherry cola, blueberry syrup and smokey, earthy notes. Well integrated, layered, complex. Wonderful structure. Lengthy finish. Matt Courtney is quickly headed for superstardom in my humble opinion. And his Chardonnay's have knocked my socks off as well. If your palate is aligned with mine, don't wait to jump on the Arista and Ferren bandwagon. You won't be disappointed. — 7 years ago

So my first experience was with the puligny and meursault. Amazing wines and not Uber expensive. This $40 sav Les beaune plays with the big boys. Just awesome. Not a producer you hear a lot about but if you love burgundy you’re already on the bandwagon — 2 years ago
