A nice enjoyable wine and a good value. Rate does great work at Barnett and was pleased to meet and talk with him about his own label. A nice blend of Napa Cab that is fruit forward, but with a strong backbone. Blue and black fruit, oak, nice dusty tannins. By far, this is the best American wine I have had in my life. Apart from that, my wife and I had the privilege of enjoying it with our best friend and his family over a delightful dinner( thanks Stephen and Jenni). Despite the privilege of the company we had the opportunity of sipping a very exclusive bottle of barbera from Barnett vineyards (only 2 barrels produced ). Notes of cinnamon, dates and roses. Dried basil and spices on the palate. It was an enriching and pleasant experience. — 5 years ago
