Had with Rebecca Barnett in October — 5 years ago
A nice enjoyable wine and a good value. Rate does great work at Barnett and was pleased to meet and talk with him about his own label. A nice blend of Napa Cab that is fruit forward, but with a strong backbone. Blue and black fruit, oak, nice dusty tannins. Nice mid week wine that although young, drinks very well today. — 2 years ago
J&j. Stone fruit and melon with hint of cultured butter on sturdy framework of acidity — 2 months ago

Wine club release from York Creek. Less brawny than Barnett’s main releases (Cyrus Ryan and Rattlesnake). Mountain fruit (albeit a little less fruit forward) with some nice spice notes and good structure — 4 years ago
By far, this is the best American wine I have had in my life. Apart from that, my wife and I had the privilege of enjoying it with our best friend and his family over a delightful dinner( thanks Stephen and Jenni). Despite the privilege of the company we had the opportunity of sipping a very exclusive bottle of barbera from Barnett vineyards (only 2 barrels produced ). Notes of cinnamon, dates and roses. Dried basil and spices on the palate. It was an enriching and pleasant experience. — 5 years ago

2021 vintage. Retasting after a week (9.3), Gorgeous entry palate with medium body. Pretty start and continued beauty for the duration of the motion picture show. Fine-grained tannins rarely far from the action but never intrusive. 10.22.24. — a month ago
