Unexpected Barollo. No hints of roses. Color could have been a hint, but still rather full of color: Red brick/brown. Bit of stable scent.Harmonious, with a nice bitter. Taste is not lasting

Provencale cave must rising to wood smoke with a velvet finish. Sommelier said liquorice but I didn't get that: just a deep, smooth red way rounder and bigger than its diminutive price.
As an accompaniment to English Stilton and Spanish manchego with fig jelly it's a serious rival to my favourite $75 barollo.
