Nose presents baking spices and a touch of soft brown sugar. Palate is dense and layered, as usual for this producer (before the winery changed hands the first time around). Notes of coffee, tobacco and maple syrup come through on the mid palate. Nice tannin/acidity combination complete what is a classic BV presentation. Drink these within the 24 months. This winery has been on the slide ever since Ed Snyder and team departed. I tasted some of the 18’s and 19’s and they were a mere shadow of the previous product.

Wow, super impressive 1er Chablis, initially shows some burnt match aromas, which then yields to some ripe lemony aromas and flavors, some minerality pokes through, great underlying acidity keeps it fresh and focused, long, lingering finish, absolutely excellent!! — 13 days ago
We had the 2012 Vintage on 11/3-4/24. A nice Old World Bordeaux. BlackBerry, plum and spice on the palate. Tannins smoothed out. Full bodied and well balanced. — 19 days ago
Very different than the 2014 Cote de Leche, this seems much more youthful and currently a little disjointed, with youthful primary lemon aromas and flavors, lovely acidity, medium-long finish, but lacking the amazing depth and complexity of the Cote de Lechet, very good! — 13 days ago

A lusciously beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from multiple vintages; 2019, 2021 and 2022 produced night medley aromas of red fruits and spices. Rounded tannins, solid but not so punchy, and well-balanced on the mid-palate with silky texture and finish. Simply lovely! — 10 days ago
