“Nagyka”: Apple and lime, a nice mineral core, wax and honey, vibrant and bodacious, got better as it opened. — 3 years ago

Very Good Shit indeed! This is a big, fruity and bodacious syrah. At 5 years old, it is still tight and needs a healthy aeration to maximize the experience. It is tannic, saturated, and full of plum. It is heady and maybe just a little bit showy, up front, (the finish is definitely strong, but somehow it is slightly narrow in its dimension... perhaps because it needs more time to open). This is definitely fantastic Syrah! — 8 years ago

Label has some style. And catches the eye. Bit of an aged version of CA Zin, but that can work. Deeper rusty, maroon color than some Paso Robles Zin I’ve had. Smells a bit more herbal and dank than fruity and jammy. Flavors are big, bodacious and brawny. Hints of the blending other reds in the mix. Chewy. Hint of that grape jelly in a campfire flavor of some Zins in the finish. This should pair well with a steak and grilled veggies. It’s a nice, well produced classic. Kinda like the biker on the bottle. — a year ago
Opened to celebrate my great-nephew’s bris. A wonderful combination of freshness and purity . A bodacious wine that is never trashy. Nice acidic cut that enhances the ripe fruit. A lasting finish . Thanks @Randy Lampert , a very proud dad. — 5 years ago
