Former owners of Araujo make this label since they sold Araujo to Chateau Latour.
Same Winemaker they had at Araujo. I am not sure many of the PBF&W attendees had any idea what was in this bottle. If they had, over two events in two days, their pouring table would have been constantly overwhelmed. Really good. Add two-points with another 8-12 years of bottle age.
Paired nicely with the Wagyu Beef Tataki. — 6 months ago
2021 vintage. Arguably best CA Sauvignon Blanc I've had since the ole Araujo Sauvignon Blanc daze in the 1990's. Pure. Clean. Intense. Full disclosure: tasted plenty of CA Sauvignon Blancs going back to 1990 vintage and it's definitely not a favorite grape. This, however, is singing. 2.21.24. — 7 months ago
P&P with a short decant. Very fine tannins with most of the sediment stuck to the side of the bottle. Blind I would have thought it was a great Côte-Rôtie! Brown edges but otherwise color of something 15 years younger. Forest floor, savory and VG+finish. Been in my cellar since release 😛
