14.4% ABV Dark color. Black fruit. Nice aromatics. My kind of Zin. Sourced from Forchini. 98% Zin, 2% P. Surah. — 7 months ago
Deep plum on the pour. Hints of herb, smoke, and oak on the nose that carries over on the tongue. Nice balance light tannin. This is an easy everyday pour! — 4 years ago
I opened my go-to Knights Valley Cabernet to compare it with the Trace Ridge from Jackson Estate. While the two share a similar aromatic profile, this offers a fuller body, greater depth, and a firmer structure, making it the more sophisticated of the two.

Still fairly primary. The fruit on the nose is remarkable. The purest apricot, and a little lightly burnt brown sugar, lots of flowers. Intense in the mouth. Not that sweet, and pretty good acids. Great length. This will go a long time. Delicious now, and certainly much better down the road. — 7 months ago
Celebrating with a couple of nice bottles tonight
2.5 hour decant(lots of chunky/fine/cloudy sediment). An astonishing dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: expressive notes of plum, cedar, worn leather, musky earth, floral, and smokey vanilla. Taste: smooth, creamy, rich wine with plum, cedar, tobacco wrapper, burnt earth, and a white pepper- strawberry-graphite long finish. YUM!! Comfortably in its drinking window(with decant) and more years to go. — 3 years ago
One of the better bottles I’ve had in a while! 2017 vintage with a lot of depth. Great balance of oak with ripe fruit. Paired with grilled veggies and tenderloin kabobs. — 10 months ago

We are into the 10 year old wines this weekend. And as we are heading to Walla Walla, we thought to give this wine a try after it was been in my cellar for more than 10 years. And…. hmm, a bit disappointed. Had expected much more complexity, layers of flavored and endless finish. Nope. Nice wine though, smooth, balanced, great vibrancy but, yeah, still single note and I don’t think there is more to discover with aging. — 4 days ago
