NV12 Cain Cuvée Red Blend 2012

Very enjoyable. Stood the test of time. These were great when we got them and are nice now. Didn’t seem overly aged at all. Earthy and balanced. Lighter than a cab but still solid. — 5 days ago

Ochota Barrels

The Mark of Cain Pinot Meunier 2020

This fresh, elegant and light but persistent red wine has lovely red fruit character (strawberries, cranberries), some hints of dried flowers, soft spices and forestfloor.
Served slightly chilled on this hot summers’ day. Nice!

Cain Five Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2011

A Burgundian-styled Cab Sauv from the one of the most compelling Sub AVA of Napa mountains (Mayacamas) which has an amazing soil and solid influence from the Pacific. Crafted with an amazing balance of 68% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot, 5% and the rest to round it off its structure and age ability. The 2011 is still climbing to its peak. Enticing notes of dry red fruits on the nose and mouth, delicate, outstandingly silky and nearly perfect balance!
The finish shows its beauty. (if you find it, it won’t disappoint you) it will give the run for the money.

Niagara Peninsula Red Blend 2019

Very well done blend. Great burger wine. Good pepper, dark chocolate, dark berries, decent tannin with acidity towards the finish. More chocolate and berries on finish. Some oak also. This reminds me of a wannabe Cain cuvée. — 2 years ago
