Lots of fruit. Not a strong finish. Dark berries but not super heavy. — 8 months ago

Very big bouquet for an Italian wine. Oak and leather notes. Dark fruits. Smooth flavors rich with lightly toasted oak, leather, and dark fruits. Smooth on the tongue with low tannins. Very nice wine. — 3 months ago
This freak show of a wine I have a soft spot for. Pure Tintillia from Molise. The nose is just crazy. Nuts, anise, blackberry syrup and fresh blackberries. So much to the aromas. They are so present. Not wispy. Mean, evil aromas. But you cannot look away. Pasolini liquified. Rich but fresh and has so much energy. Velvety tannins that gain substance with air. Chewy and dense but also somewhat light on its feet. Long finish and very fresh. Really intense. But also elegant. A wine of contrasts. Let’s see what air does. But a great wine despite my meandering review. — 10 months ago
I have never tried a wine from Molise before. On the Adriatic coast east of Naples and a little north of Bari, I had no idea what to expect. This 85% Montepulciano and 15% Aglianico blend is robust. But somehow shows a bit of lightness and salty sea breeze. Dark cherry, plum, spice. Very good with food. You could drink this wine every day and never grow tired of it. — 2 years ago
