@Delectable Wine - this is NOT the Cent pour Cent cuvée. It is the regular IGP Merlot.
Great and funky nose shows a fair amount of barnyard leading a caravan of plush dark cherry and ripe red berry fruit. Bit of sweet spice too. On the palate, it’s got kids of gravelly earth and dark berry ooze, and the texture shows lots of soft but unobtrusive tannin. Nice balance. An astounding value. — 3 years ago

Fantastic nose. Dark berries and jam just the way I like it. The palate was a bit disappointing at first. Right and out of balance, almost bitter out of the bottle. But by the end it had smoothed out and was more dark fruit with good acid. I bet if we had time to decant first an hour or more it would have opened up. Oddly. — 5 years ago
Very enjoyable. Rich but light enough to session with when you’re in a caravan in Margate. Italian paired food — a year ago
stop everything, corner yourself, and plunge into this rutabaga, flocked titanium frame, licorice root, tarmac, damp earth, distant diesel, stewed tomato, crushed petal, oleander?, cherry meat, candied gossamer violet caravan. this juice is a vampiric traffic cop with crawdad pincers, it halts and releases you in a screaming fluorescent red vest with unregulated grip. surrender or die. — 3 years ago

Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby/black color with some purple highlights. Aromas of dark fruit, cinnamon, cedar and vanilla. Extremely ripe black and red berry/currant/plum fruit with additional notes of blueberry, dried herbs, and baking spices. Long and lingering finish with intense complexity and concentration. Harmonious and well balanced. Thanks for sharing, Petey! — 3 months ago
