Intense, deep, powerful but incredibly approachable red blend from the Douro River, a red blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. This combination will please all styles of wine drinkers. The flavors of red compote and a hint of baked red cherry pie and a@touch of toast and vainilla provides a wonderful mouthfeel. While the nose is of prototypical tawny port with raisin, caramel, fig, cocoa, and sandalwood, the palate has a fruitier profile with subtle cherry flavor. Full and rich but not cloying - it’s actually on the drier end of the taste spectrum for a tawny.
