For me it is “all that “. Like a fresh Selosse without bubbles.
Sensory overload on the nose and palate. The level of freshness at this stage is amazing. A little of everything, oxidative, salinity , orchard fruit, subtle wood , that makes this a true sum of the parts wine. Acid for days .3 dimensional in the mouth with a never ending finish. Wine of the Year by WS in 2020. Revisiting this jewel is magical. Wine is aging incredibly well. Showing secondary and tertiary characteristics. The tannins are becoming fine grain and velvety. The fruit even more consentrated. — 3 months ago

ask the wine guy for something unusual, something off the beaten path and he recommends this delicious dry 100% Palomino w/some bottle age: definitely a food wine, light greenish straw color w/fairly austere nose full of minerals, lanolin, herbaceous musk, white flowers (jasmine), ginger & some spices. on palate it is rigid & angular, zesty acidity, some citrus but mostly minerals & herbs, quinine, screams for briny foods - we had this w/deli section fare & salad. — 2 months ago
