Dry, medium bodied, easy to drink, not overly tannic, fruit forward, bold — 6 years ago
Easy drinking. Would be a crowd pleaser — 6 years ago
Blind tasting no4. Should have let this decant for awhile first because it was super reduced - sulfur and eggs. Honestly would NEVER have guessed burgundy or Pinot noir. Just so saturated and dense. Probably missed some of the common flavors because it was still fresh.
Slightly cloudy opaque purple with little rim variation. Heavily extracted. Bone dry, medium tannins, medium acids. Red berries and chalk with a medium to full body. As it opened we got compost and olives. Nothing to indicate Pinot though… — 2 years ago
This wine is in the sweet spot now and probably has a couple of years to go. — 6 years ago
So good for price. — 4 years ago
Superb pairing with the pigeon, served cellar temp (slightly chilled on a balmy Berlin August evening); very finely blended velvety tannins and somewhat stanky earth flavors. Someone I know imports this to the US and I happen to have some of the '14 and '15 waiting for me at home!!! — 6 years ago

Transparent ruby red with violet. Oak, Vanilla. Matured Strawberry, raspberry. Earthy. Coal? Cinnamon and Nutmeg from oak barrel. Slight herb and stem and red flower. Quite ample aroma. Sweet vanilla. Smooth. A bit tannic and acidic at opening. Juicy after decanting.
