Beautiful, whip-smart Northern Rhône Syrah with blackberry, violets, granite and, after air, a gorgeous olive note running through both the nose and palate. The texture is sleek and refined, with excellent freshness, fine tannins and a long, elegant finish. Not quite as complete or tightly composed as the monumental 2019, but still an exceptional Gonon and a brilliant expression of the vintage. — 2 months ago
2015 lovingly stored, drank at what feels like its peak in 2026, all the necessary acidity and fruit but deep and mature secondary flavors of Syrah — 6 months ago

Nose dense. Lilacs. Perfect late season cherries if such a thing existed. Savory.
Palate: so so dense but elegant. Cocoa. Savory. Long.
This is likely better than a 9.6. But it’s coiled.
So so so so long.
