2022 vintage. From a 375ml bottle. The St. Estèphe exception that proves the rule. Super-delicate cocoa powder with sumptuous richness throughout. Light-medium body. Cos is an outlier on the right. This is on the left. Nearly everything else is in between, hammer and nail 3D BDX...dry, dirty and distinctive. Excellent quality BDX to woo initiates with. 6.26.26. — 2 months ago
Was really superb. An excellent champagne that’s well worth drinking. — 8 months ago
Blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Bright dark garnet color. Aromas of red and black fruit, black licorice and light oak. Same fruits (very ripe) on the pallet with hints of wet loamy soil and basil. Plump and rich. Silky tannins. Pleasant surprise. Solid QPR. — 4 years ago
This white Bordeaux wine is tinted yellow and offers a nose of lemons, limes, tropical fruit and loads of minerality. The grassiness which is present in Sauvignons from other areas is extremely muted here. The palate is as crisp and fresh as it gets, with juicy fruit and savory minerals working together with a bracing acidity. — 5 years ago

Dry left bank Bordeaux style blend from Chile. Dry, and tannic. Not very green at all. One of my faves — 4 years ago

2020 vintage. From dedicated parcels, Marquis de Calon Ségur is very different from the grand vin, with Merlot dominating the blend. Immediately expressive, with abundant red fruit and flowers. Impeccable purity of fruit and a silky mouthfeel. Good value at one third of the price of the grand vin. Abv. 14,5%. — 2 months ago
