Really not OK for this vineyard. Band-Aid, quite tannic. Lime. Bark. — 10 months ago

Drinking well now but will clearly open out and develop in time. Lovely soft raspberries and great length and backbone. — 4 months ago

Match made in heaven with turbot. 6/12-2023 [The Samuel, Hellerup] — 10 months ago
Wow was this funky. Left it out overnight. Got better. Some crunchy fun gamay underneath it all, but too much barnyard. — 6 months ago
Delectable Wine

The 2022 Chêne Marchand is a richly fruited wine offering creamy notes and ripe peach fruit. While it's an opulent style for a Sancerre, it never becomes heavy, plus it has an almost tannic edge, providing a frame and reassuring structure that grips the palate, suggesting that this has longevity. There's a fine, briny character throughout. Having tasted the killer 1996 vintage a few minutes afterward, you can be sure this wine has a long life ahead. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2024)
