Château Pontete Bellegrave

Château Bellegrave

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2022

Blend of about 2/3 Cabernet Sauvignon & rest Merlot, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruit and toasty spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, currant and blueberry fruit with cigar box, cacao and toasty vanilla oak spice. Lively acidity, elegant fine dusty tannins, well balanced, long finish ending with earthy notes, plenty of depth, will continue to develop. Nice! — a month ago

Total sleeper of a producer. 8ha producer sandwiched between Lynch Bages, Pichon Lalande, and Latour. Perfectly mature with a charming rusticity all too rare in 90s Pauillac. — 6 years ago

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2014

Very nice pomerol. We normally stick to the left bank - but this was delicious. Quite refined even for a somewhat lesser year. Pretty ready to go out of the bottle. Nice pairing with steaks at Minetta Tavern. — 4 years ago

Les Charmes Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

What you’d like to drink over a Monday night football game. Has the effeminate character of a young but very drinkable Pauillac — 6 years ago
